Post Valentines

Having an absolute crazy crazy morning Jason still found the time to take his sweet girls there valentine flowers to each of there schools. Kaydi...a bit embarrassed, of course but Graycee, they weren't able to find because it was E time so he had to leave them :( for here to pick up. It doesn't matter how old she is, who see's...She still thinks her dad walks on water and loves the attention he bestows upon her and is crazy about the fact she gets flowers from her dad. We cant forget Jake. He got a nice candy filled heart in his backpack from me ( his Valentine, hehe)
I also spent some time up at Jason's new office in West Jordan and then we went to lunch. Woot Woot. Anytime I get to spend with Jason is great so I enjoyed myself immensely. Especially seeing him in his new working environment. (more on that later).
All in all it was a great day. It's my favorite...

So, of course I saw this idea on pinterest and thought this would be a good idea for Kaydi's classs and the friends the older two kids wanted to give to. Yes, Jake is even giving some. This took forever and I was up this morning at 400 am to finish. But I also had Kaydi's Valentines box thrown in the mix. So those two together consumed me for a bit. It was all worth it though. So enjoy your day. Even if you don't like "the day", it's always what you make of it, right!!

It finally came :)

I have been seeing these all over and HAD to have one. I was so excited to get it. The wall has been bare since my Christmas decorations have come down, knowing this little goody was on its way.

Halloween fun in January!

Yes I know its January...I just found this in my drafts. Just trying to get my blog book together and could not leave this out.

This year was the first time Jason wasnt with us for Halloween night. We were sad but made the best of it!  The weekend started like this. Friday- Kaydi and Jake had parties to go to. Graycee watched a movie with a friend!!  Saturday, Jason and I had a couple halloween parties to go to as well as Jake. Sunday, we had the annual Thompson Family Halloween party. Monday-Jason left back out of town. Kaydi and Graycee dressed up for school. You know you are the mom of teenagers when you spend Halloween with your 9yr old. Graycee didnt make it home till 900 that night and Jake shortly after that. Atleast Jake came home afterschool and had his friends come here for awhile before they left. Kaydi and I carved a couple of pumpkins and made homemade meatballs and spaghetti. Yummy, by the way. I cant believe how easy and fast it was.  Then we went out and went trick or treating. I wish my honey could have been there with us. We sure miss him terribly when he is gone on  holidays like that. He plays such an important role in our family. Anyhoo...here are some pics. I am missing some of our family together in costume.
