my cat eats paper

Ok, let me know if your cat is as mentally challenged as mine! My cat has taken up a really bad habit of eating paper. Anything that is left on the kitchen table, she will destroy. Why, you ask? I dont know! I am trying to figure it out! I have googled it and really have not come up up with anything concrete. It is pretty sad when I am sending notes to the kids teachers trying to explain to them that the cat ate there homework! It does not seem to go over well! LOL!
