Tuesday I get a text from my babystitter sho takes Kaydi in the morning. She tells me she cant get Kaydi on the bus this friday because after 6th grade graduation (her son is the same age as Jake) she has to be somewhere. Ok, I think to myself. I dont think Jake told me that little tidbit of info! Curse him!!!!! LOL! Of course I didnt ask for it off from work because I did not know about it... What am I going to do??? So we get that figured out! The morning of the graduation he whines about the fact he has to where something nice. We compromise. Black jeans,nice button up shirt,NO TIE! Jake leaves for school...I get a call from Mr. Bunker(his teacher)"I am sending him home to get a tie on) Do you see the smoke coming out of my ears,yet? So, I make him get another shirt on, a tie and I make him tuck. LOL!
Just for the record, we are very proud of Jake. He has had a lot of struggles these past few years and we know it has been hard! As parents, we are thrilled he is moving on up. Its such a big step to go into 7th! We love you, Jake!
