Jason took the opportunity to go with a big group of guys to Flaming Gorge the other weekend. Just a few things that happenend along the way. Keep in mind that everyone was going at different timed and towing different things ie: trailers or boats whether it belonged to them or not.
1. Drove around and around for camping spot. Found one. Took 3-4 attempts to get the trailer to where all the popups were able to come out. Not level, though!
2. Guy that was towing our boat got pulled over because the brake lights werent working and because it was registered in both states(Utah and Montana) the highway patrol was a jerk. An hour!
3. Finnally get the boat in the water-NO KEY! The key flew out as they were driving at high rates of speed! LOL! Good thing I wasnt there...It would have been my fault... Jason did ask himself, self-should I take the key out...no, why would I do that when I have never done it before! Inner voice, people!(the emchanic ended up letting them borrow his key to his pontoon boat.)
4. I am trying to get these in order, but I am propbably not. One of the guys had a dock slip he got from his dad for all the state and federal areas. Sweet, save a little money! The next day there was a 75.00 ticket on the boat. The place where they were at is privately owned. It costs 5 dollars a day to park your boat. They were there 3 days if you count the day they came home. You do the math.
5. So while they were on the boat, one of the guys they were with got a phone call from his local fire and police dept. Telling him his house was damaged in a fire.
6. One of the other guys lost his grandma while he was there.
7. Oh, this belongs at about where 4 should be. the guy that was double towing both a boat and trailer got a flat on his way up on his trailer. Changed it, when another 30 miles or so and got another one on the other side. He'd already used the spare. Had to drop the boat and trailer, go to evanston buy a new one.
8. It was deathly hot up there and they decided they were in a wakeless area that they would just jump in for a minute. Flashing lights when they pull there heads above water. No flag on the boat. They werent swimming just cooling off. They did luck out of that ticket.Jason smooth talked his way out of that one.
9. Jasons brand new pole broke. The only time he has ever spent a lot of money on a pole...!
10. Anyway, I am sure there are a few more things that happened, but I cant remember anymore.
With all the things that happened, Jason had a great time and caught some amazing fish.
