Well, my sweet 13 year old son has just been condemned to a life of shaving. He has been bugging Jason to show him how to shave and the time finally came when his dad gave in. The sad part is that he did have hair to be shaved. He was totally embarrased and didnt even want me in there because I'M THE MOM!!! He did eventually allow me at the door(quietly snapping shots of him)
I'm also going to take the opportunity to tell you all how much I love my son. It doesnt seem like I get to blog about him very much. He is always down in his "dungeon" playing video games.We dont see him all that much. When he does decide to meander up the stairs, its usually because he smells dinner or is just hungry. He is constantly annoying the living crap out of his sisters(no really)It is a constant battle with the three of them.I've decided he has learned that from his dad! Sometimes I could strangle him...he is a definite teenager. With all that said, I really enjoy the times Jake and I get to just talk. He will just come and hang out and have a little chit chat about whats going on in school... Whos who...friend drama...teacher drama...just whatever!!! I love every stinkin' minute of it. His dad and I are so proud of who he is becoming. He has such an amazing heart and is such a blessing to our family. As much as Jason and I enjoy seeing him pass these milestones it always so bittersweet. So here are a few of the shaving pictures for you all to enjoy!!
