Well, Jason and Jake ventured to Boulder Mountain for the muzzle loader. No success, but alone time with a teenager is priceless.
Boulder Mountain tops Jason's top five of favorite places and it seems to me, this is becoming one of Jake's favorite places as well. It was great to hear Jake tell me the stories when he got home. My favorite was when he told me how amazing the stars and sky were. Personally, that is one of MY favorite things about camping. The stars and moon are just so close. It just seems like you can reach up and grab a hold. It's just too bad for them, the deer weren't there. :( Were glad they are home. We sure missed having them around.
