I also thought you may want to see what I came home to the other day. We use to have this big willow tree in our front yard. A few close calls later, we decided to cut big Bertha down. When we did it, we never were able to take the stump out of the ground and it has been a continual eye sore and just a pain to mow around. Finally, Jason had some one come and grind it. He figured the yard was already a disaster with the trail going in we might as well continue it further into the yard. When the boys were cleaning up the wood chips, Jason decided to dig out the roots that were still left in the ground and this is what we were left with.
He also took it upon himself to teach Jake how to drive this big piece of equipment.
Let me remind you, he is only 11. I was told he caught on rather quickly. Like father, like son...??!!
Just a side note- I'm suppose to tell you the title to this blog is "not correct". "We still have landscaping to do", so in a sense it isn't done, but guess what- I can pull in to my driveway and park in my garage without putting it in 4 wheel drive and that my friends, is DONE enough for me!
