Ok, so I decided to go with my friend Brandy to Walmart at 11:30 p.m. to go get Breaking Dawn. Yes, you heard right, on both parts. If any of you know Brandy, she is always thinking, always on top of everything, very prepared, etc etc etc! She decided to call Walmart and see if she could find out any details. I get this text- Walmart has only 1800 copies, starting to line up at 9:00 p.m. 1 per person. Great! Our idea of going over at 11:30 just got blown out the window. The lady she talked to said she had been getting calls all day and anticipated a sell out. Which, by the way, did not suprise me. It is Stephenie Meyers Breaking Dawn! I told Brandy I could not go at that time because my lovely husband was chasing bear and I could not leave my kids home for that long. She went anyway. You see, her husband was planning on taking the kids for her all saturday so she could just read the book and eat bon bons on the couch all day.(ok, maybe not bon bons) but you get the picture. She was bound and determined to get this book and she was not taking any chances. She said she would text me and let me know what was going on. At 11:00 I get a text. Come get in line with me, I'm about 30 in, its not too bad. I could not get myself out of bed. Not even for that. To make a long story short, I run over to seagull book at 10:00 that next morning. Walked right in, picked up a book and even got all these cute things to go with it. I was laughing the whole time. Then, I have to run over to Walmart for a second. I walk in and there were atleast a couple hundred books left, just sitting there. LOL! And I was worried I was not going to get one, anywhere. Go Team Edward. No, I have not started the book yet, so that was not a clue to anything that happens. Love ya Brandy...!
