We always love this time of year. The girls love to get eggs!Kaydi,especially! She will just go out and watch the chickens. Jason was rototiling the garden and Kaydi was right behind him getting the worms to feed them. If there arent worms,there is grass,LOL! They also sell these eggs. Neighbors,friends...We got pink cartons this year. Its been real fun. The kids are always watching them "poop" out the eggs. I can never get there at the exact moment. Kaydi brought me in a huge egg the other day. It had ridges going all the way down. You could tell that poor chicken was pushing it out a little at a time. This reminded me of when I had Jake. Yes, I am comparing him or me or both to chickens, ok! Hear me out on this though. Jake was only 7lbs but I was having a hard time with him coming out. They would have me stop,push,stop,push. When he finally came out he had a cone on top of cone and maybe a little one at the top. We all got such a kick out of that. Luckily for him, it went away. So, when I looked at the egg with all the ridges...I'm thinking to myself "Geez, how would it be to give birth once a day. That is what these chickens do and sometimes they have some ginormous 'babies' "
